Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program (Registration & Eligibility)
The 8171 Ehsaas Emergency Program is a government initiative within Pakistan that helps low-income households. It is a part of the larger BISP, which intends to reduce poverty and promote social welfare. To find out if they qualify and to register, eligible families can use an online portal or send their CNIC number to 8171. Every three months, registered families receive cash to help with basic needs, including food, healthcare, and education.
In 2025, the current Government will carry on the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program, which was initiated by former Prime Minister Imran Khan following the COVID-19 pandemic. Low-income Pakistani families will get help from the program in three installments: the first will be paid in May 2025, the second in August, and the third in December.

Within three months of completing the 8171 Ehsaas program, qualified beneficiaries will have Rs 14,000 in their bank account. If you receive an 8171 message, you can pick up your cash amount at the nearest Ehsaas center or the ATM. Once the Ehsaas Center or operator verifies your CNIC using biometrics, you will receive the money.
